With over 300 accredited journalists covering the competition, the event was followed by almost 150 countries on television: real media repercussion that spread the image of Tenerife as an avant-garde, modern and well-equipped destination capable of hosting large world-scale events and as an island that is engaged with sport, especially women’s sport.
